Slider always going to last story on mobile [#2170347]

I've got Flexslider setup on my site and it seemed to be working fine.
Then I had someone point out that when using the slider on their mobile device, no matter what story they click on it, it always takes them to the last story in the slider.

On the desktop it works as expected. You can use the arrows to go forward and backwards and click on any story in the slider and it takes them to the appropriate story.
This only happens on the phone or tablet.

So to me it seems related to the touch feature.

I tried updating my dev machine to the latest 2.0 version to see if that fixed it, but i still have the same issue.

I'm not sure where to go from here for troubleshooting this?

Well the first thing is I can't help with Flexslider 1. Too much has changed since then to use it.

(But if you want a quick tip for v1, try changing from fade to slide effect, sometimes that helps with weird behaviors).

The second thing is Views Slideshow. Views slideshow has never really been great with FlexSlider. Even for v1 the implementation was hacky.

Try recreating your slider with v2 using the Views Style plugin.

Views Slideshow support for v2 is non-existent at this point. I'm trying to find someone to take that over for me (I don't have the time or patience to deal with the View Slideshow API sadly).

Give that a try.
