Hi!
I had the error message during update of the module to the last dev version(sorry I didn't save it). It seems that there is a typo in the line 945 in search_api.install. After that incomplete update I have an error message also during indexing of content.
Maybe I am wrong, but when I changed 'server_id' => $$index->server, to 'server_id' => $index->server, the update process did not give me an error message againe only the message that the table search_api_tasks is already exists.
After that the indexing process starts without any errors.

Oh, oops, thanks a lot for spotting this! This could have been really bad if it had gone unnoticed for another few days, until the next stable release.
