When I log in to the the system as Administrator, I can't see the Contextual links for blocks / views.

Please help.

Not sure, its not normal at all, never seen it as far as I can recall.

I gather you have the Contextual links module enabled?

Can you give me more info please, such as what pages you are looking at in the site, have you change the theme much, did you save the theme settings? And any other info, being able to show me on a live site would help also.

Hi Jeff,

Yes, I have Contextual links module enabled on the site.

I am using AT theme.

I have made the home page of the site using block level views. But as you know there are "Contextual Links" to Edit (for views or block) if are logged in as Admin in the website, but that is not showing up.

Regards,
Saurabh

This is not a bug and certainly it is not critical. I cannot reproduce this and you have not shown me any way to reproduce it.

The definition of a bug is something that I can reproduce, by following a set of instructions on how to reproduce it. All you are saying is "I log in and can't see contextual links". Just because your site is broken does not automatically mean this theme has anything to do with that. Indeed, AT does almost nothing to affect the operation of such links.

The only think I can suggest is to save the theme settings again, and clear the cache, see if they show up. I have never seen this before in any theme, and given that no other user has reported this I have to assume the issue is with your site, a module or something odd about your installation.

I am all ears when it comes to actual real bugs in my themes, but this afaict is not a bug, I see contextual links just fine.

I'm having this same issue but only on Views in the admin pages.

To reproduce, install Administration Views, which make system views editable, and visit for example admin/content.

On those views you cannot see the contextual links.

I have another site with the same configuration, but with Omega 3 and 4 themes, and no problems there.

I ran into this same problem. The fix was quite simple, actually. Start by looking down the list of your enabled modules for functionality that involves overlays. I got to Devel Themer, and there it was. Turned that off and the contextual links came back.

You just need to make sure if you have instilled any new modules such as LABjs module it give same problem , so you have to disabled that module and it will works
