I think you are asking if you can create a region that appears off canvass(outside the container), as in outside of the column area created by the susy layout.

If this is what you are asking then yes!
I did it accidentally when using incorrect push/pull values.
To do it intentionally you can push or pull the column outside the container. I found it best to test by zooming out with your browser when changing push /pull values.

The best way to start making an off canvas layout would be to take a look at the off canvas layout that comes bundled with Omega (see the "layouts" directory in Omega.

Off canvas can be quite tricky to get right, so I would suggest using some of the other layouts provided in Omega first to build up some more experience.

i decided to give it a go. So far ive copied the off canvas layout folder to a neawly created layout folder in my subtheme. Now i see

in my layout. Im a guessing that maybe i could just wrap the sidebar_second in this code? I know it wont be that easy. Lets try....

ah hah that went a bit better than i ever imagined. Yes my sidebar second is now appearing in the off canvas slider sidey thingy as hoped. Only problem now is my second sidebar has 'dropped' down the right side when viewing the page in a wide resolution. My limited css knowledge tells me though its probably because i have added an extra div between sidebar first and second.

changed the added div to being a span and bobs your aunties live in lover.

I thin thats me sorted.
