Hi
I edited very old posts in order to remove personal information. The result was that some kind of drupal cop or "drupal NSA" re-posted it from archive and blocked my account. Some kind of "positive" censorship... So my question is: On drupal.org users don't have rights about their posts? That's worse than facebook. How can someone change his/her posts? And how can a blocked user contact this organisation without creating a new account? Maybe it's a method to generate users... I think this could be a discussion that goes far beyond drupal. And the damage for its image could be bad... Looking forward to your comments.
Thanks and regards

Please provide some links to said posts. Which account was blocked? Providing that info would enable us webmaster to actually help you/investigate the situation. Most of your post is acusatory conspiracy crying which helps nobody and quite frankly makes you look bad.

Looking at sunbam's tracker I can see https://drupal.org/node/2114617 was raised by user nonumber (https://drupal.org/user/2728355) with similar accusations. Are sunbam and nonumber identical?

Ok, I've checked the nodes in question and have to ask if there is any good reason for you to completely blank those nodes years after they were published? I cannot see any relevant "personal info" in them. I also noticed that years ago you once raised the issue of "how to delete own content" (#132411: node deletion) which went unanswered and was "won't fixed" much later on. So you once tried to use the proper channels which was unsuccessful.
What triggered the need to purge your content five years later is beyond my imagination to be honest. That behavior is generally not accepted on drupal.org. I am going to contact the moderator who reverted your changes (rightly so) and blocked you (not sure about this, at least an issue would have been nice). To be crystal clear: What you did is considered vandalism, even if the content you manipulated is years old. The question we have to answer now is if we unblock your old account if we deem you behavior somewhat negligent or "wrongful self-defence". Was there a good reason to purge your old content?

To make this transparent: The user account we are speaking about is https://drupal.org/user/78193

This was done by me. A bunch of empty posts showed up in at the top of the forums one day-- wiped out by a user that also wiped out their username with their userid. So yes, I reverted the content to undo the vandalism.

And I blocked the account first because of the vandalism, but also because if someone wipes out their content and username it's a pretty good indicator they no longer wish to participate on drupal.org.

Not sure what else needs to be done with this issue.

After some thinking about this I agree with WorldFallz on this. The only redeeming fact is that once upon a time the user raised a issue at the correct place which was ignored. However there was never another try, the user edited each and every post of his for no apparent reason and the profile history didn't suggest any interest in further fruitful membership. In addition the user already has two new accounts so a fresh start is possible.

I am leaving the old account blocked and hope the current one will be used more wisely.
