"Due date" is one of the most requested features for Case Tracker and other tracker modules. Also, this will serve as a concrete demonstration of how to extend Work Tracker (since issue tracking almost always requires some customization to use it at a real organization).

Implemented the module in it's simplest form in commit 80a581c6:

  • Adds the field and configures the display for the node and comment
  • Adds a column to the view
  • Shows the column by default in a "Tasks Section"
  • Some custom CSS to make it fit nicely into the "Task information" fieldset

No documentation yet on how it was built, but I did gather the screenshots to make that next!
