I need more extensions to this field. I made a quickfix, but I this can turn into a patch, right?

The patch for this isn't in a current release tag (alpha2/3) and I'd rather not hop over to the dev branch on a live site, so I re-rolled against alpha2 so I can apply it via a make file. Feel free to ignore/incorporate in future as desired!
