I'm not sure if a column drop layout is unique enough to go in the core project to be honest but it is a common pattern.

I've created two versions because I couldn't decide which was better as a demonstration layout so I thought I'd let the community decide which, if any, should be admitted.

This is a pixel based column-drop layout based on the dimensions of the 960gs as exemplified on the Modernizer website.

I think this is a better candidate for a demonstration layout as it exemplifies a fluid layout.

Sitting in there for two years without any review kinda suck. Have not tested it but here is a reroll, for what it's worth, of #2 that enable git to apply it. It was complaining about:

error: cannot apply binary patch to 'omega/layouts/column-drop/preview.png' without full index line
error: omega/layouts/column-drop/preview.png: patch does not apply

So those png-files was not there.
