There is a potential risk of creating a recursive loop if a Node reference display is set to Full node or teaser AND the Node Referrer field is also set to one of those, as the Node reference field will display the referenced node, which will display the referrer, which will display the referenced node, etc. I would suggest simply removing the option to display a Full node or Teaser in the Node referrer.
