Remove legacy code for integration with other projects

There is a lot of code left that deals with integration with other projects, such as Currency, Views, and Rules. Currency integration is no longer optional, Views is part of core, and Rules has no D8 version yet, but will most definitely change so much that it is not worth keeping the old integration code.
