In light of the recent email sent out about the "unauthorized access to account information on Drupal.org and groups.drupal.org", I discovered that there is currently no way to delete or request deletion of a Drupal.org and Drupal Groups account. This should be a feature of any website that stores user's personal information.

I think the Drupal.org site management has a problem here... I believe Dutch law requires your to remove an account completely (not just disable it) when requested. I would not be surprised if this is also a EU law.

Apart from that... not being able to (really) delete your account doesn't really send an "I can trust this site" message to users.
