sharique commentedI vote for support for Charts module (https://drupal.org/project/charts). Charts is more actively maintained.

Pierre.Vriens commentedHow about joining forces via #2368793: Chart 2.0?

sharique commentedConsider me in.
Pierre.Vriens commentedGreat Sharique, note my related comment I just added in the related issue now. Suggestions about where to start?
sharique commentedThere first thing I or anybody who is want to write plugin for any chart module is the documentation. Charts does lacks documentation, we need to come up with docs, so that other people will also find it helpful and make it easier to contribute.

Pierre.Vriens commentedGlad you asked! First of all, be aware that at this very moment I'm only 'involved' (= contributing) to chart, not yet charts, though pressure is growing to have me consider getting involved in charts also (refer to the related issue near #22 for details about that).
I just checked https://www.drupal.org/node/233753 again, so there "is" some type of community docu for charts (I've not digested it yet). With your background / experience, and looking at that from your module here, can you help me to understand what kind of docu is missing, is wrong, is obsolete, whatever?
Also note my #2369883: Create chart documentation issue I started working on within the chart module, any feedback/contributions to that would be appreciated also. Though for now I'm waiting to move forward on investing more time in that topic until after the decision about going for chart, charts or both.
If you're interested already in getting an idea of what "I" think is a good illustration of documentation related to community docu AND docu that comes with a module, checkout the forena module: community docu is available (gues who created it recently), and after you download/enable it in any environment of your own, you'll see the docu that comes with the module (and guess who created that recently). It's still not perfect (it is incomplete ...), but a huge step forward for this module I think. It's recent growth in usages stats, and the reduced volume of support issues somehow seem to confirm my recent investment in contributing to it was worth it ...
