Right now you only need to save the connection setting in order to save a field value. It should be possible somehow that you need to save both a connection and a table in order for the field value to save.

I wonder if I may need to make three different field types instead of trying to do all in one:
1. schema_reference_connection
2. schema_reference_table
3. schema_reference_column
