When the module auto-searches, the resulting page of matches only displays the center content, no left or right-hand columns are displayed. Using a modified 'bluemarine' theme.

Looks like this is a 'feature' of Drupal and not specifically this module. If no page is found, the default view from Drupal seems to be the center column only...the auto-search then just uses this format.

Yes, it's a bug/feature of Drupal, with it should be possible to circumvent with some semi-ugly hacks.
