Documents dont move or save to subfolder [#1991868]

When uploading documents (either .doc or .pdf) it refuses to save them into any created subfolder within /media and will just save them there instead. This does not happen to images which happily go into folders created under the media plus options.

Researching around I believe its because of the /application tag give to the documents but have never found a solution. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I'm having the same issue.

For me, it worked great up until I upgraded to beta1. The dev versions since have been the same way. It creates the folders just fine, just doesn't actually put the files in them.
