hunmonk commentedThis is an already existing feature, it was just not well documented how to set it. i've committed the attached patch to 5.x and HEAD, have a look for the more detailed instructions.
darumaki commentedI followed all the instructions the only thing the block does is create a logout link and the module turns the existing login form into a link that directs to another page, on drupal 5.3, i went through all the options and there doesn't appear to be anything that would maintain the form as is.
hunmonk commentedi highly doubt you went through all the options -- this isn't that hard to find given the instructions i just added, but i've gone ahead and added a description to the setting in question to clarify what each setting does. attached patch has been applied to 5.x and HEAD.
'User login' block, 'Block type' setting.
darumaki commentedI'll say this again, there is "NO" option to keep the default drupal login form as is, I examined the entire module and all its options (even this new patch), the moment you enable LoginToboggan, the drupal login form goes away and replaced by the module login which appears only as a link not a form.
Check it yourself, do you see any option for this ?
- Allow users to login using their e-mail address:
- Use two e-mail fields on registration form:
- Set password & Immediate login
- Non-authenticated role:
- Redirect path on Registration:
- Redirect path on Confirmation:
I may just use the link instead since it directs to the page that has login and account creation
Comment #5
hunmonk commentedyou are clearly not reading the updated instructions carefully. try again:
This is nowhere near the LoginToboggan settings page.

(not verified) commentedAutomatically closed -- issue fixed for two weeks with no activity.
darumaki commentedAll the block does is configure who can see it and what page it will display, it provides no options regarding the default drupal login form, as I stated before there are NO options to keep the default login form appearing using your module, you should go through it and try it yourself and you'll see. This module over-rides the drupal user-login and removes the form in the sidebar
Comment #8
hunmonk commentedi have tried it myself, many times -- it works as i describe. if you do not see the options i describe on the block configuration page for the login block, then the most likely cause is a conflict with another module.
my recommendation would be to disable all non-core modules including logintoboggan, then re-enable just logintoboggan, and hunt for the setting as described. if you see it, then most likely another module is doing something naughty and causing problems.
if you don't see it, then you're either looking in the wrong place, or you have something seriously wrong with your drupal installation.

michelleJust to toss another voice in, I can confirm that you can use the normal login block with ltb. I have it set this way on all my sites.
