I have a two level hierarchical vocabulary and wondering if there is a way to restrict the options displayed in the first select box to only be the top level parents?
I think it's confusing to the user to see the full flattened list of options with no depth. I was not able to see a config setting option for this.

stBorchertUhm, the main purpose of Simple hierarchical select is to display one level per dropdown.
If all elements are shown in the first dropdown it seems something went wrong.
Did you try clearing the cache? Could you give some more information about your configuration?

blainelang CreditAttribution: blainelang commentedIt's odd as I am pretty sure I cleared cache a dozen times (under config/performance) but the dev site is on pantheon and I may not have used the clear cache button they have on their dashboard until later. It's working now as expected - thanks!
