I'm not sure if this issue is related to Commerce Multicurrency module or "Drupal Commerce Extra Price Formatters"

If I select Price with prefix/suffix format with option "Show calculated price" checked for my commerce price field, the switch to another currency is not working as expected, the price field remains the same with the default currency value.

I had this issue too until I watched the screencast linked on the project page to see how the rules are supposed to be configured. Check those out and see if that solves your issue.
