The directions on this page: http://drupal.org/node/1416128 For how to stack two regions on top of each other and have a third region be the height of the two that are stacked is not working.

If do header one - weight 1 header two- weight one (so that those two stack) and then do Header three- weight two, the header one and header two remain side by side and kick the header three to the next row because it's larger of course. The only thing that works is going header one - weight 1 header three - weight 2 header 2- weight three. But! then, when you resize for the mobile, the stack as header one/ header three/ header 2. Which I don't want. I want them to be 1, 2, 3.

I have the region positioning off. What am I doing wrong?

To be totally honest, I was confused when the dude that posted that said it had worked for him in IRC. I didn't really think it was supposed to.

Normally what I would do is either use Panelizer to accomplish this, or simply make two regions and store a menu block at the top of the main content region, styling it to appear as its own section.

Don't want to steer you wrong, I'd still love to hear if what was described in FAQ actually works and we're just missing something!
