rjerome commentedI'm presuming you don't want to do an in place update? I did write a "migrate" module for a client which does exactly what if you want (if you are moving to a new server). If you are interested, I'll check to see if it can be publicly distributed.

botser commentedThanks for your reply
1. No, I want to copy only the biblio nodes to a new website, but it will be from D6 to D7. If possible, I would like also to keep the comments and Taxonomy.
2. It would be great if you can make that Migrate module public.
3. I tried to use the XML export/import function Biblio already has, but although the attachment file name and location was in the exported XML it did not import it.

rjerome commentedThe current migrate module handles CCK fields, file attachments and taxonomy terms, it doesn't currently deal with comments.
botser commentedThat would be great as well, let me know if it becomes public, I would be happy to test it.
BTW - great job with the biblio module, I admire your work
Comment #5
rjerome commentedI have permission from the the client "BoaB interactive" to make it public, so I'll let you know shortly where to find it.
botser commentedGreat thanks, looking forward to it.

botser commentedAny news?

rjerome commentedContact me via my "Contact" page, and I'll send you a copy via email. I wanted to do some cleanup before posting it publicly, but I haven't had the chance yet ;-( Sorry about that.
Ron.

GAtherton commentedI am having a similar issue, summarised here:
I have a large bibliography (10 000 records) with downloaded pdf's for most.
Each record links out to its pdf via a link field.
Each record is categorised eg as it a review, what subject type etc via a series of 20 boolean fields.
I would like to move it all over to Biblio. I have installed Biblio onto the same server as the nodes I wish to convert
I could just import using Endnote or Pubmed ID but all of the links and categorisations would be lost so I have looked at using node_convert to convert my current nodes content type into the biblio content type.
All seemed to progress well until it came to mapping current fields to biblio fields - they are mainly of the field type 'biblio module form' which s not recognised by node_convert.
Is there any way I can carry out this conversion? I am currently considering exporting my current bibliography via csv into Endnote and then importing into Biblio... any other ideas?

St_B commented@GAtherton
And if you put your link in a field as UR in RIS, and do the right mapping RIS-Biblio here admin/config/content/biblio/iomap/edit/ris ?
