My points set up uses decimals like 0.0001 etc. In the author pane it will only show as whole numbers. Could someone point me in the right direction to get the pane to display points in x decimal places?

In the AP module directory, look at the file module/userpoints.author-pane.inc to see which functions of User Points, AP uses. AP don't change the value that are given from User Points module.
