Is this planned? I'm happy to submit a patch for it - today AdaptiveTheme only has the icons, which don't do you much good without a launch screen to go along with it for the full experience.

Could do it, has to be configurable - path to image and be able to turn it ON (independently of touch icons, OFF by default), could go in the same group as the touch icon settings.
