I tested this module and I really like it. If there is a multi field with a fix number of values people can still choose more values after they reach the limit.

I have searched in the chosen jquery library and I have found "max_selected_options" to prevent this.

Don't know if this is possible to add per field and not per global setting?

Oh just discovered your issue, I will close this as a duplicate for #2035723: Chosen Not Respecting Maximum Values in Node Edit Forms. Every help is very welcome, if you have a good idea how to get and set the info on a per field basis.
