Couple of weeks ago my editors lost the option to set in the content type the possibility to post to twitter.com

any idea what happened?

I haven't changed the application nor the content types. In twitter module and oauth module is everything unchanged right. I have no idea ....

Did you try disconnecting & reconnecting the account? Also, upgrade to 5.8.

Also, they deprecated the old API, so make sure you are using the latest release.
