Vertical tabs "Using defaults" doesn't cover checkboxes

This is actually a little fiddly - the current logic uses hidden fields to track the specific values entered, it doesn't currently handle checkboxes which are groups of individual checkbox fields. I'll see if I can work on this, but it'll be a little while.

This needs work but I didn't want to loose my progress.
