How can this module be used to create an empty frontpage?

After a fair amount of tinkering... Set Internal Path to node.

Just installed this (simple yet great) module to use for a few pages. The front page was one of them.
To do that, one just has to set the same path for the empty page's internal path in admin/structure/empty-page/add and the front page's path in admin/config/system/site-information, and voilà.
It seems the path can be almost anything you want. As Executor Atari pointed out, tough, things like "< front >"(without the spaces) will not work.
