Like a few others forums, a sticky might be helpful in this forum. If users would simply google their question title, many would find their solution.

It would also help to remind them to post accurate titles and stay away from ones like "Two Questions", "Can anyone help", etc. Not to mention giving them suggestions on details to provide when asking for assistance (Drupal version, modules, module versions, etc).

To go forward with this, we need the actual text that shall go into the sticky.

It has been sitting unassigned in the issue queue for six years with no progress. This will be closed as outdated in two weeks if nobody signs up for doing this.

We don't have strict rules about titles, apart from the obvious ones. I am not sure that asking the users to write a more descriptive title would help them to get replies: The title is a summary of the post, and it cannot be so much detailed.

It is linked to from top of the Forum subsite (https://www.drupal.org/forum). I believe the points about searching first is covered in #1, the importance of titles is covered in #4, and suggestions on details to provide are covered on #6

We could make a sticky that simply links to that page, but I am not sure if that is required.

There is a bit of linkrot on that page, btw.
