you could store to Internet Archives archive.org as well.

I'd love to see somebody write a module for this- If you know how to put content on IA, then it should be easy to integrate. I'm in full support.

I have a very rough submodule (based on the S3 module) working with file uploads to archive.org -- I haven't been able to test it much, as our organization is still on 6.x-1.x with the main site. I'm migrating us to 2.x this week, and if all goes well I'll be able to test and commit the archive.org code shortly after.

I uploaded the development release of the internet_archive module which amongst other things, provides two configuration steps for Media Mover 2x -- 1) send to archive.org, 2) add to archive.org queue.

FYI, I've got another refacto waiting in the wings- it will not change the core API, but it offers quite a bit of improvements for handling workflow.
