Support for UUID migrate in Drupal 7.x

Please support UUID in migrate / migrate_extras for Drupal 7.x.

UUID was supported in the migrate extras module for 6.x, but that support has not continued for 7.x.

It would make a lot of sense to set the UUID while importing content, rather than afterwards.
