I added a custom field.tpl.php file to my theme (I am using a sub-theme of Omega). I basically removed all of the divs from the default field.tpl.php file.
The field.tpl.php file would normally look like this:
<div class="<?php print $classes; ?>"<?php print $attributes; ?>> <?php if (!$label_hidden): ?> <div class="field-label"<?php print $title_attributes; ?>><?php print $label ?>: </div> <?php endif; ?> <div class="field-items"<?php print $content_attributes; ?>> <?php foreach ($items as $delta => $item): ?> <div class="field-item <?php print $delta % 2 ? 'odd' : 'even'; ?>"<?php print $item_attributes[$delta]; ?>><?php print render($item); ?></div> <?php endforeach; ?> </div> </div>
Mine looks like this:
<?php if (!$label_hidden): ?> <?php print '<strong>' . $label . ': '. '</strong>' ?> <?php endif; ?> <?php foreach ($items as $delta => $item): ?> <?php print render($item); ?> <?php endforeach; ?>
The problem is that when I try to use the field.tpl.php without the extra divs, the gallery isn't formatted into thumbnails and grids anymore. The images in the gallery are stretched out and big. All of the functionality that makes this module so awesome doesn't work anymore.
It looks to me like this module needs the field.tpl.php file to be default. However, that doesn't make sense to me because according to this comment: THIS FILE IS NOT USED AND IS HERE AS A STARTING POINT FOR CUSTOMIZATION ONLY.
Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, I love this module!
