Taxonomy Tokens Not Passed On Taxonomy Term Pages

Apparently the menu is not being given the term of a vocabulary when on a term page.
This issue does not occur when on a node that has a taxonomy assigned to it, just the taxonomy page itself.

This is with the taxonomy page being redirected with pathauto if that makes a difference.
