I'm actually surprised this feature request doesn't already exist.

It would be pretty useful to have a way to a) create a machine name for each template mapping and b) export a mapping to code using features, eg using ctools export functionality.

This might not be THAT easy as the module uses an autoincrementing ID to store the templates. These are quite hard to export & import. It's better to use machine names...

Tested the patch and it commits cleanly on simplytest.me. I exported a test template with no trouble at all. Thanks Tharna for this, it's a very valuable contribution to node_convert!

Support for ctools exportables has been added to the repo, a DEV version should be generated in about 12 hours.

Didn't use Tharna's patch though, because I was already in the progress of writing a more full-featured implementation.
