Drupal Association members fund grants that make connections all over the world.
This is quite out of date in the case of Dave and, if we want to keep the urls, we should change it a bit. I could see changing them to be the person's d.o page as well.
I'm wondering if we should just remove this information since it has to be hand-curated and is redundant from the 'Maintainers' block on the homepage in addition to http://drupal.org/node/17345/committers ?
The mention of Matt England and the tracker support seems odd now that we've removed that.
I could go either way. On the one hand, giving people credit helps encourage them (and others who want credit) to contribute. It is the last thing in the file. On the other hand, as you point out it is highly likely to get out of date.
