I started to once again get the unable to connect to Facebook SDK PHP library, and nothing was working until I found http://drupal.org/node/1318296#comment-6312474. Going back to version 1 did the trick.
Is this problem with the Libraries module or this one? If it's with the Libraries module, do they know about it?

Even though this ticket is older, I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of #1603206: Simple solution to fix the library connect issue because there is more activity and a patch over there.
