thedavidmeister commentedHere's a patch against master, as there's actually no d7 branch yet #1848712: Use correct git branch conventions for d.o. - empty out "master" and introduce 7.x-1.x branch. I used the patch in the OP as a base but went through with code sniffer. A lot of repeated issues were found - comments over 80 characters long with incorrect punctuation and capitalization were pretty common.
