Similarly to #1792222: Convert dos-style line endings to unix-style, cleanup of code is needed for 7.x-2.x.

Tier 1 - line endings and obsolete CVS ids is done and pushed to dev already.

Tier 2 - codesniffer - patch to be attached here for review.

This patch implements codesniffer recommendations. No functional changes, only syntax/style. I do not expect issues on this, still will leave the patch here for review for a while, if anyone can give feedback it would be great.
