After reading Dries's message here Drupal 6 usability suggestions?, I thought it would be appropriate to put in this feature request.

I believe its a requirment to integrate a WYSIWYG Editor(or RTE as I call them) in the core, since the contrib modules are not doing the job good enough.

Since there is no "Drupal WYSIWYG editor", only a wysiwyg API could hit core.

This API currently evolves in
