Slideshow Title and Description Vanish on Second Banner [#1778794]

I've seen reports of folks saying that the title and description don't show up over banners when logged in, however on beta11, they disappear even when logged in. Also, I've seen reports that disabling Theme Developer resolves the issue - however I don't have Theme Developer installed at all.

The first banner shows the title and description just fine. However, when it fades to the second banner, the title and description appear during the fade transition, then disappear after the fade is complete. This happens regardless of whether I'm logged in or not. This happens regardless of the transition effect.

The navigation buttons do not exhibit this behavior - they stay there throughout the cycle. Only the title and description box vanish.

Here are a couple of screenshots showing the Wipe transition (the behavior is the same on other transitions, though)

During Transition
Notice the title and description appear at the bottom.

After Transition
When the transition is complete, the title box is missing.

I've discovered it only happens when you have more than 7 banners. Weird. Remove one banner to get down to 7 and the issue goes away.

Any help with this issue? I am also replicating the failure if I have to load more than seven (7) banners, which I need to do. It seems to work if I don't need to use the "titles/descriptions" overlay but, obviously, I need to do that.
