(Btw: I run into the same issue by using the latest 2.0-beta3).
Having DB apply an bg-image generally to any node works well. The resulting css looks fine (e.g. using the Garland theme):
#wrapper #container #squeeze {
background-image: url("http://www.example.com/sites/default/files/pictures/backgrounds/image_0.jpg");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}But setting the background individually (or via context) results in something like:
#wrapper #container #squeeze {
background: none no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
}There is no image loaded but this css code is supplied by Dynamic Background.
What is wrong here? Is this a bug or do I miss something? I tried it with other themes but no success so far to set individual backgrounds.

inetcom commentedForget to say that the dynamic background module is used in a multilingual environment. That might be the reason. I am going to check that.
Comment #2
inetcom commentedTested with a fresh installation of D7, it works well. I could not reproduce the problem. After deinstalling and installing the module again it works now as designed. Sorry for bothering and thank you very much for this fine module and your work.

isidoretabati commentedHi,
I have been trying to use this module in vain. Please which version are you using? what did you put as upload path? css selector? Any help will be hightly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

inetcom commentedThe version is stated at the beginning of this thread and you'll see it above the editor area (7.x-1.9).
Upload path (you could leave it empty) is e.g. "pictures/backgrounds". Make sure it is writable. Check if it is working well by loading the (with the supplied form uploaded) picture manually and directly in your browser (e.g. http://your.site.domain/sites/default/files/pictures/backgrounds/image.jpg). Check with an ftp client the location.
Check the used CSS-selector which of course depends on your installation. For the Garland-theme you could use e.g. #wrapper #container #center #squeeze
You're welcome!
