Sorry I keep posting here but I really like this module!

One thing I'm not completely sure about, when the form is loaded and none of the referencing options is set, shouldn't the second refernce just show nothing?
It does when you select and option and then unselect.

Attached find a patch that adds a checkbox on the field settings form to hide all options if no option is selected in the matching field. If selected it will hide all options and display the help text instead.

Thanks for the patch! Turned out to be just what I needed for my own project :)

Committed this slightly tweaked version:

- check the new option with empty() so that existing users don't get error messages
- tweaked UI text so it's not a double negative
- put all our options in a fieldset now we have more of the,
