Limitations for core CCK widgets

Hi,

according to the handbook page, the 'Conditional Fields' module is supposed to support the core CCK widgets:

Supported controlling fields are for now only core CCK widgets (that is: select, checkbox, radio and text).

However, the range or completeness of this support is not stated. After playing with this module for a couple of hours, I believe that there are much more limitations; since they are not documented, I'm categorizing this as bug for the time being.

For example, text fields work smoothly as controlling fields, when they a) are single-value, b) have a listing of possible values, and and c) a checkbox buttons used. They don't work for me, if the text field is multiple-value, or if a select list drop-down widget is used. They do not even work, if a multiple-value field is changed into single-value, or if the display widget is changed into checkbox buttons.

So it'd be extremely helpful to get a complete documentation of the exisiting limitations for core CCK widgets in the 6.x-2.0 branch since it is terrible having to figure this out by doing trial & error. On the other hand, if support for the mentioned core CCK widgets is supposed to be really complete, a clear statement about this would be helpful, as well.
