At the moment the drush-command-syntax is:

drush adaptivetheme "Your Theme Name" yourthemename

My idea is to extend the command to:

drush adaptivetheme "Your Theme Name" yourthemename [basetheme]

[basetheme] means an optional field with the name of the base theme, that is used to create yourthemename.
