I am going to follow the guidelines set out at:
http://groups.drupal.org/node/94484#practice
to try to ascertain the accessibility issues within the theme.
I will run a report on: http://fae.cita.illinois.edu/ based on the D7 Demo theme and fix any issues it raises.
I will also examine each page of the demo site using Webaims accessibility toolbar and fix any issues highlighted there.
If anyone else would like to offer support through an accessibility audit of their own, the help would be much appreciated.

the_g_bomb CreditAttribution: the_g_bomb commentedI have also checked most of the pages using the WAVE Toolbar and noted that there are no errors showing up on the pages.
There are a few alerts about javascript on the page, but that is due to the twitter feed and not something I will fix as a part of this sprint.
There are also alerts about problematic link text due to the titles of some pages not being descriptive enough. e.g. portfolio. again not something I will address as a part of this as it is more a content issue than a theme issue I would say.
And some regarding the some text being hidden by css. This is fine IMHO since I have added that text to assist the users of the site with assistive technology.
