using the views module in full node and teaser works ok.
Using it in the list and table modes (that require fields) does not work (tried all options of picture fields)

Currently the list and table views, show only those pictures which are "attached" to nodes. It doesn't show an image of the picture node.

I can add that feature, hopefully very soon.

I had to completely change the way I was approaching this module, to solve some problems that where coming up from where we were using it. This has resulted in the preliminary module, called Media Manager. This module I will be completely supporting, whereas I'll be retiring this module.

This module is being "retired". Please refer to the above mentioned module, since it will perform all the features of the this module, and I'll be maintaining http://drupal.org/project/mmedia instead.
