I also have a need to create conference badges and was excited to see your module. A critical feature for us in the ability to embed a unique barcode on the badge for each user. This way, when the user arrives at the conference, we can simply scan the barcode on his/her badge to confirm his/her registration status. Is this possible with the PDF-IDcard module?

The module uses standard TCPDF code which supports barcodes. So Yes it definitely possible. Check the TCPDF documentation on how to create a barcode. I can help with this if necessary.
