Hi, sorry for this post, but I've Googled for about two hours, watched demos, and still can't find this info.
Am I right in understanding that the beautiful form builder module does not provide a way to create nodes? I see a component listed as 'CCK/Node Integration', which sounds promising, but then I can find no examples of how to use Form Builder to layout a form using CCK fields that would then add/edit a drupal node.
If this doesn't exist, is it planned?

quicksketchThe CCK/Node form integration was removed in the 7.x branch because it never worked properly. A separate sandbox that has started porting the Field UI to Form Builder has been started over here: http://drupal.org/sandbox/swentel/1323872
It's coming along but not ready for production. I'm sure @swentel would love the additional feedback.

tedbow@quicksketch or anyone else, do you know what that sandbox project was? The link is broken, maybe it was promoted to a full project? If so anybody know which one?
quicksketchHm, not sure. It's not in swentel's projects any more. I think he abandoned it, but it's a bit unfortunate if he deleted it entirely.
tedbowDo you remember if it was using Form Builder to work with the "Manage Fields" screen? Or was it a independent approach?
quicksketchWell its intention was to replace the Manage Fields screen, but because it wasn't stable, swentel had put it on a separate tab called "Managed Fields (FB)" or something like that, so you could use either interface. But the idea was to ultimately replace Field UI module, yes.

tedbowOk thanks for the info. I will try to follow up with swentel.

Hi guys, anyone here any update on this?
Form Builder rocks! I would love to use it as a replacement to manage fields and on all nodes and content types.
@quicksketch, thanks for the hard excellent work.
