Out of the box FAQ field seems to produce wrong markup. For the question I get something like
<h3> <a> <p> Question </p> </a> </h3>.
The <p> can't be inside a <h3>. And the <a> should be inside the <p>.

But usually FAQ get marked up with a definitionlist - with dt for the question and dd for the answer. As far as I know this still provides better accessibility.

this p-tag is caused by an issue in the current 1.0 that was already fixed, see #1611008: Use plaintext format for questions.
the <p> probably comes by the fact that the question (in 1.0) is filtered my check_markup() instead of simply check_plain(). Please have a look at the current dev.

I was also thinking about such a field formatter, work is in progress, see #1611512: Classic anchor FAQ display format. I really would like to get it into 1.1, but due to my exams I'm currently short in time. If you like to have this feature soon, please feel free to help getting it done.
