I set default robots value as 'noodp', and select 'robots' in 'Meta tags to output in HTML', robots meta tag only shows in node edit page, it is missing in node view page. I have to select 'use the default value' for robots in every node edit page to make it works in node page at frontend.

Please try 6.x-1.14-beta1, see if that resolves the problem.

@DamienMcKenna, there is no lucky in version = "6.x-1.14-beta1+0-dev", the problem is the same
