I set up a website using feedparser to parse Amazon feeds to generate items I want.

but I find the update time is too long. I had done cron several times, but front page still did not change new contents.
(I had reported this issue and wait for any suggestion http://drupal.org/node/166050)

so I change to simplefeed. it is really fast to refresh the content.

But these two module are difficult to use category to classify items and cause same contents duplicated.
I do not know if there are better ways to solve these problems.
another issue is simplefeed show "URL" on firefox and not in IE.

I set up an automatic cron job for every 30 minute

I find every time only several items are generated. However, If I run "freshthisfeed", at least 10 items per feed(current 3 feeds).
So if cron job works OK, there should be 30 items are added each time.

I do not if I understand this issue correctly?
So what reason cause this problem? server or configuration?
