View name can be up to 128 chars long, display_id can be up to 64 chars long.
view_name and view_display_id fields in views_data_export table are only 32 chars long.
This results in an sql error when trying to execute batched export on a view with name longer than 32 chars:

PDOException: SQLSTATE[22001]: String data, right truncated: 1406 Data too long for column 'view_name' at row 1: INSERT INTO {views_data_export} (view_name, view_display_id, time_stamp, fid, batch_state, sandbox) VALUES (:db_insert_placeholder_0, :db_insert_placeholder_1, :db_insert_placeholder_2, :db_insert_placeholder_3, :db_insert_placeholder_4, :db_insert_placeholder_5); Array ( [:db_insert_placeholder_0] => report_product_summary_by_country [:db_insert_placeholder_1] => views_data_export_1 [:db_insert_placeholder_2] => 1340703022 [:db_insert_placeholder_3] => 648 [:db_insert_placeholder_4] => header [:db_insert_placeholder_5] => a:0:{} ) in drupal_write_record() (line 7013 of /var/www/html/includes/common.inc).

I agree with you, 32 chars long is too short.
